Business Development Executive | Electronics/Engineering | Cambridge
  • Pioneering electronics company having developed unique technology causing breakthrough change across industries including FMCG, retail, packaging, medical and more
  • Recently received large funding to assist with scaling up operations
  • Client portfolio include many leading multinational brands
The role:
  • Performing market research to identify new opportunities and relevant business contacts
  • Contacting prospects via phone call, email and LinkedIn
  • Accurately managing the pipeline through CRM system
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of activity in relevant markets, including competitive landscape, market trends and drivers
About you:
  • Recently graduated in a Physics, Engineering or Electronics related discipline, preferably to Masters or PhD level
  • At least 1 year's experience in a client-facing role, preferably in sales or account management
  • Good communicator, with the ability to speak with people over the phone, in person and via written communication
  • Desire to pursue a career in sales/business development
The package:
  • to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Performance related bonus (circa £5,000)

This Business Development Executive role is based in Cambridge 3-4 days per week and the suitable candidate is likely to be located in Ely, St Neots, Royston, Saffron Walden, Huntingdon, Bedford or surrounding areas.
