The role:
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for.. 
  • Proactively identifying and engaging with new opportunities in target markets via a multiple channel approach
  • Developing sound product knowledge to consultatively advise, demonstrate and recommend suitable solutions
  • Working towards stretching but achievable targets of £1M upwards with average sales being around £45,000
  • Travelling to meet both existing and potential customers to develop profitable and mutually beneficial relationships
  • Representing the company and product range at trade shows, events and related industry conferences / exhibitions 
  • Self-sufficiently building and managing a profitable pipeline and developing account / sales strategies for long-term wins
  • Generating price quotations based on client needs, challenges, situations and providing breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Targeting the public sector specifically and building relationships with partners, integrators, resellers, buyers and the like
About you:
  • Senior and credible sales background in the cyber security sector with experience managing £1M+ targets
  • Experience working with and breaking into new accounts within the public sector - ideally defence and intelligence
  • Previous / existing or an understanding of relationships with integrators and resellers and how these interplay
  • Background selling technical solutions and becoming a product expert in a technically demanding environment
The package:
  • £90,000+ basic salary
  • OTE £150,000+ (uncapped commission)
