The Role:

  • Identifying leads, customers and market trends
  • Developing knowledge and expertise on the entire product range
  • Taking customer enquires directly by telephone / email and recommending the most suitable products to them
  • Following up with customers and begin to build relationships with them
  • Visiting existing and potential customers to present company products and investigate potential leads
  • Attending industry exhibitions throughout the UK
  • Producing monthly sales and activity reports
  • Working with the management team to devise and implement strategic growth plans
  • Ensuring that all quotations meet customer expectations and comply with regulations

About You:

  • A proven track record within the photonics industry
  • Degree in Physics/Photonics desirable 
  • Technically minded and able to adapt to specialist products
