Suffolk is located in East Anglia, approximately 90 miles from the centre of London, the financial capital of Europe. The county borders Norfolk to the North, Cambridgeshire to the West, and Essex to the South with the North Sea to the East. Forty percent of the UK's population lives within 80 miles of Suffolk.
Suffolk has many small and medium sized companies who can exploit the growing opportunities to trade their products overseas. In a world where quality and lifestyle goods are at a premium, Suffolk's companies are well placed to prosper. The Suffolk region is home to several fast-growing and successful sectors, each with hundreds of supportive companies, strong talent pools and networking organisations. They are led by ICT/Digital, Agri-food and Clean Energy but there are others too.
