We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to work for a leading UK consumer goods contract manufacturer.

The role:
  • Identifying new growth opportunities with the customer and working alongside the Product Manager on NPD to implement these.
  • Producing and delivering presentations and holding meetings with customers.
  • Building a trading sales plan for each key account to advance the business and maximise total sales.
  • Managing sales budget, forecast and conducting full profit and loss for each key account.
  • Communicating with the team to ensure any customer quality issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
About you:
  • Passionate about the FMCG market.
  • Previous experience in business development within contract manufacturing.
  • Evidence of producing growth among multiple high profile accounts.
  • Strong ability to articulate yourself in both written and verbal communication.
  • Negotiation skills.

This Business Development Manager role based near Cambridge would suit candidates with previous experience in a Sales Manager/Business Development role within the FMCG/consumer goods sector. You could be partly home-based so candidates from areas including Peterborough, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Northampton, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Ipswich, Coventry would be considered.
