The role:
  • Working closely with the commercial director to target the UK market primarily and eventually wider Europe too. 
  • Attending networking events, visiting clients and acting as an ambassador for clients, prospects and stakeholders.
  • Carrying out the full sales cycle from prospecting/lead gen to demo, negotiation and closing deals around £50k - £100k+ ARR. 
  • Qualifying inbound leads as well as building out more of an outbound channel to increase brand awareness & market penetration.
  • Adopting a consultative sales approach to understand each client's individual situation/challenges and offering an appropriate solution.
  • Contributing to GTM strategies alongside the Directors/Founders and helping to define all commercial processes, strategies & methodologies. 
About you:
  • Experience in fast-paced, collaborative SaaS startup/scaleup environments.
  • Track record for selling SaaS solutions and working towards/exceeding ARR targets. 
  • Strong experience in the energy industry (renewable energy, battery storage, emobility/EV etc).
The package:
  • Basic salary £60,000 - £90,000.
  • 25% bonus + equity (share options).

This Senior Business Development Manager role will be hybrid with the main office being London. Key locations include Greater London, Beaconsfield, Epping, Guildford, Henley-On-Thames, Hitchin, Horley, Reading, St Albans, Twyford etc.
