Business Development Manager
Leading technology business supporting emerging life sciences and technology companies is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to lead on the technology arm of the business.

The role:
- As Business Development Manager you will lead the business development and account management arm of the software development side of the business
- Work closely with clients to identify needs and demonstrate a strong technical grasp and consultative approach
- Help build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships and operate as the lead point of contact for a variety of cutting edge software builds within cloud, mobile and AI
- Generating opportunities, proposals and signed commercial agreements
- Working with a large offshore technical team to ensure that projects are delivered effectively and on time
- Networking, attending conferences and exhibitions
- Travelling to clients and visiting the overseas offices
About you:
- Business development experience ideally from software or a related digital sector
- Entrepreneurial and commercial individual who enjoys a high level of autonomy
- Thrives in a client facing, consultatative sales environment where demonstrating knowledge and expertise are key to success
- Interested in latest technology particularly latest software
- Educated to at least degree level
The package:
- Up to £40,000 | £75,000 OTE
- Generous commission and bonus scheme

This role would suit an experienced business development professional from a consultancy background who is based locally to Cambridge at locations such as Royston, St Neots, Huntingdon, Newmarket, Cambourne, Saffron Walden and surrounding locations.
