Business Development Manager - Defence & Government

The role:

  • Developing sound product knowledge to consultatively advise, demonstrate and recommend suitable solutions with a focus on bringing a new cloud based solution to the market.

  • Proactively identifying and engaging with new opportunities in target markets via a multiple channel approach.

  • Travelling to meet both existing and potential customers to develop profitable and mutually beneficial relationships.

  • Representing the company and product range at trade shows, events and related industry conferences / exhibitions.

  • Self-sufficiently building and managing a profitable pipeline and developing account / sales strategies for long-term wins, targeting the Government/defence space.

About you:

  • UK security clearance (a must for the role).

  • Strong sales track record, proven success prospecting/identifying new business and building a strong pipeline.

  • Familiarity selling across a portfolio of cloud based products and services.

  • Experience in the Government & Defence sector (a mut for this role).

The package:

  • £50,000 - £100,000 basic salary (depending on experience)

  • Plus bonus 

  • Occasional office days/client visits but predominantly remote

This Business Development Manager role will be remote with visits to clients and occasional office visits. Key locations would include London, Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham, Derby, Leicester, Coventry, Cheltenham, Oxford, St Albans, Cambridge, Southampton or surrounding areas.
