The role:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and exceed revenue goals.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored subscription solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to optimize offerings and address customer needs.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- New business sales experience with a track record for meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling subscriptions and have an understanding of the sales process.
- Background in the energy sector with a focus on sustainable energy solutions.
- £50,000 - £55,000 | OTE £80,000+
